Melina, 5 years old, is Yermo’s
younger sister. She likes to dance and has the smile of an
angel. Yermo and Melina arrived recently after the murder of
their mother. They have several other siblings who live with
their godmother and work in the fields.
Yermo, age 6, is quiet and keeps
to himself. He sticks close to his sister, Melina, and shares
